Monthly Feature . . .
The Wakulla County Board of County Commissioners wants to remind citizens that the FY 2012/13 Solid Waste and Fire Hardship Applications are due by June 1, 2013. The Hardship Assistance Program was created to assist residential property owners who meet the eligibility criteria, with the financial burden imposed by the Solid Waste and Fire Services Assessment.
To qualify for assistance, the applicant must apply annually. In addition, the applicant must be the property owner and the property must be homestead exempt. The following income must be demonstrated of all occupants 18 years of age and older:
