1. Residential bulk items will be picked up on regular trash routes. Citizens do not have to schedule with Waste Pro. For residential bulk pick-up, place the items out with your trash can.
2. Waste Pro asks citizens to place out only 1-3 bulky items per week, as space on the trucks is limited.
3. Metal items still must be scheduled through Waste Pro, 850-926-7010.
4. Waste Pro still does not service yard waste or anything considered construction debris.
5. If residential bulk items are not picked up within three days of your regularly scheduled trash day and no notice as to why has been given, contact the Wakulla County Public Works Department at 850-926-7616.
Examples of Bulk Items That Waste Pro Services on Your Weekly Garbage Pick-up: 1. Household Furniture: couches, chairs, mattresses, box springs, headboards, footboards, kitchen tables, end tables, entertainment centers, bookshelves, curios, china cabinets, TVs, and dishwashers that are not metal Inside. 2. Plastic Kid's Toys (batteries must be removed): small plastic pools, power wheels, & other plastic toys that do not fit in garbage containers. THE ABOVE ITEMS ARE SERVICED WEEKLY ON YOUR REGULAR GARBAGE PICK-UP DAY Examples of White Goods and Metal Items: 1. Appliances: stoves, refrigerators, water heaters, washers, dryers, A/C window units, BBQ grills, and dishwashers (if stainless steel on the inside). 2. Workout Equipment: treadmills, bicycles, basketball goals, etc. 3. Push lawnmowers (drain oil and gas). THE ABOVE WHITE GOODS AND METAL ITEMS WILL BE SERVICED ON THE FIRST FRIDAY OF THE MONTH & MUST BE SCHEDULED WITH WASTE PRO BY CALLING (850) 926-7010 |
