PUBLIC NOTICE - WASTE PRO TRANSFER STATION FEE SCHEDULE UPDATE
Waste Pro recently updated the fee schedule for the Wakulla County Transfer Station located at the Lower Bridge Landfill. There is now a minimum dump fee of $10 for anything that is not metal, and anything that weighs over 250 pounds will cost an additional $4 per 100 pounds.
Waste Pro recently updated the fee schedule for the Wakulla County Transfer Station located at the Lower Bridge Landfill. There is now a minimum dump fee of $10 for anything that is not metal, and anything that weighs over 250 pounds will cost an additional $4 per 100 pounds.
Items that are accepted for a fee:
- Construction & demolition debris;
- Yard waste; and
- Tires up to 17”:
- $10 per tire without a rim; or
- $15 per tire with a rim.
Items that are accepted for free:
- Recyclables;
- White goods;
- Oil; and
- Metal.
Items that are NOT accepted for drop-off include:
- Hazardous waste (call 850-926-7616 for Amnesty Day dates);
- Batteries;
- Paint;
- Sludge;
- Freon appliances (fridges and ac units are acceptable with freon removed);
- Hot ashes; and
- Residential garbage (no food waste).
The Transfer Station is open Mondays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Saturdays from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and is located at the Lower Bridge Landfill, 159 Landfill Rd., Crawfordville, FL. For more information, please call Waste Pro at 850-926-7010.
