CRAWFORDVILLE, Fla – The Wakulla County Parks and Facilities Management Department is pleased to announce that two new concession spaces at Shell Point Beach are officially available for rent by food vendors.

 

“The concession spaces are an exciting addition to Shell Point Beach that will benefit beachgoers, residents, and local food vendors,” said County Administrator David Edwards, “We are proud to offer a place for food vendors to safely conduct business and showcase their food.”

 

The cost to reserve a space is $25 per day, concession trailer, and space. Reservations are available on a first come first serve basis. To reserve a space, vendors must complete a vendor application and submit it to the Wakulla County Parks & Facilities Management Department. Applications are available online at MyWakulla.com or at the Department located at 322 Shadeville Road, Crawfordville, FL 32327. Hours of operation are Monday thru Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

 

"Wakulla County also plans to increase the availability of concession spaces in Crawfordville," noted Edwards, "One future project will include constructing concession spaces at event-centered Hudson Park to offer another dedicated site for food vendors to operate."

 

Shell Point Beach is located at 117 Beaty Taff Drive, Shell Point, Florida 32327, and is open to the public from 6 a.m. to 12 a.m. Beach amenities include a restroom facility, large and small pavilions, a children's playground, a volleyball court, a kayak launch, and the nearby Shell Point Boat Ramp.
