The Wakulla County Board of County Commissioners is seeking qualified applicants for a full-time benefitted position of Maintenance Worker in the Parks & Facilities Department.

Qualified applicants must possess a high school diploma or its equivalent and one (1) year of semi-skilled maintenance work. Responsibilities include all facets of park and building maintenance; litter control; cleaning of restrooms; periodically operate light equipment and performing preventative maintenance; painting, light plumbing, relocation of furniture, etc. ABILITIES: Ability to lift 50 lbs.; climb ladders; work weekends (alternating); work holidays (possible); pass a background and drivers’ license check. Must be able to work outside in various weather conditions.

Preference will be given to those individuals with a background in electrical, plumbing and/or carpentry work.
