Wakulla County Code Enforcement Reminder: Mobile Food Vendors
As we head into the holiday weekend, Wakulla County Code Enforcement would like to remind local and visiting mobile food vendors to follow local, state, and federal rules and regulations. The requirements guide below will help mobile food vendors operate safely and legally to keep their staff and customers safe and avoid common violations.

MOBILE FOOD VENDORS SHALL MEET THE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENTS:
  • Operation shall be contained within a motor vehicle or a trailer that requires a motor vehicle in tow.
  • Operation may only be located on commercial or industrial zoned parcels of land.
  • The vehicle or trailer shall not be located on the same site for more than twelve (12) consecutive hours at a time.
  • The hours of operation shall be between sunrise and sunset.
  • The vehicle or trailer may not be located within the right-of-way.
  • The vehicle or trailer shall not be operated on an undeveloped parcel.
  • The vehicle or trailer shall not be affixed to the ground with tie-downs, anchors, piers, pilings, or a foundation.
  • The vehicle or trailer shall not be affixed to a permanent structure.
  • Vendors must maintain all applicable federal, state, and local licenses.
