Notice of New and Updated Wastewater Connection Fees - Wakulla County

NOTICE OF NEW AND UPDATED WASTEWATER CONNECTION FEES
For All Unincorporated and Incorporated Areas of Wakulla County, Florida

At the December 13, 2021, meeting of the Board of County Commissioners of Wakulla County, Florida, the Board adopted Resolution No. 2021-78, the revised “Wakulla County Sewer System Rate Resolution,” which established new and updated wastewater connection fees and other rates, fees, and charges for use of the services, facilities, and products of the Wakulla County Sewer System in all unincorporated and incorporated areas of Wakulla County. These wastewater connection fees are imposed on all new or expanding service connections to the Wakulla County Sewer System occuring on or after April 1, 2022 and will fund capital improvements and additions to the Wakulla County Sewer System needed to serve these new connections. The wastewater connection fees will be due and collected at or prior to either a reservation of capacity, the issuance of a building permit, or if no building permit is required, prior to connection to the sewer system, whichever occurs first.

The following wastewater connection fee rates will be effective on April 1, 2022:
