EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES:  4-H Program Teaching Assistant (Extended Advertisement/Revised Position Title)

The Wakulla County Board of County Commissioners is seeking qualified applicants for two (2) part-time (non-benefitted) 4-H Teaching Assistant within the Board of County Commissioners. Positions are based out of the UF/IFAS Extension Office.

These positions are all about the 4-H Program and helping the 4-H Agent and Program Assistant to implement and run a successful program. Responsibilities include assisting management with the planning, setup and conducting of educational programs, promoting positive youth development and assisting them with targeted life skills. These positions would also be responsible for the enforcement of rules to guide, conduct and safeguard health and safety of all youth and volunteer leaders participating in the program. Will work cooperatively with other youth development program workers and office personnel. Must be willing to work in indoor and outdoor settings.

Qualified applicants must possess a High School Diploma or GED; must like and have experience working with children and youth between the ages of 5-18 YO is preferred. Must possess a valid Florida Driver’s License; know and can perform CPR; pass a Level 2 background check. Must be able to provide outstanding customer service. Letters of reference are strongly encouraged.
